The seven tests that matter
- Silhouette fidelity. Does the overall shape match the source, including proportions and the identity-defining details?
- Hidden surfaces. Rotate behind and underneath the object. Reject hollow shells, missing faces and paper-thin depth.
- Texture stability. Look for stretched labels, painted-on depth and seams that become obvious under different lighting.
- Useful delivery format. Prefer a standard output such as GLB that carries mesh and materials into common tools.
- Performance. Test the asset on the target device and in a scene containing the number of objects you expect to ship.
- Privacy. Check whether private customer references or generated outputs can appear in a public gallery or be reused for training.
- License clarity. Separate the cost of generation from the rights to use, resell or exclusively control a specific output.
Calculate the real cost
A cheap generation is expensive when half the outputs need a retry, the texture needs manual repair, or the license does not cover the product. Compare the cost of an accepted asset, not the advertised cost of one attempt.
Use the same three test references across every tool: one rigid prop, one organic character and one thin or asymmetric object. Score the complete model, not the thumbnail.
A simple acceptance score
- 30% silhouette and proportions
- 25% back, side and underside quality
- 20% material and texture quality
- 15% engine performance and format
- 10% privacy and licensing clarity
Generation packs versus rights
These are different products. A generation pack buys production capacity. Rights answer whether a selected asset can be used commercially, whether the provider may reuse it and what can legally be transferred.
Our approach lets you evaluate each new output once. You purchase exclusive rights only for the asset worth shipping. After the purchase, Bles will not reuse or resell that output. The transfer covers rights Bles holds, not your source material or third-party IP.
Frequently asked questions
What should I inspect first?
Rotate the model to the side, back and underside. That reveals whether the system reconstructed a real object or only optimized the front view.
Do generated models automatically have commercial rights?
No. Licensing varies by service and plan. You also need permission for the source image, character, logo or design you supplied.
